Regular departures operate throughout the day from:

  • Waimarino Park & Ride
  • National Park Village accommodation
  • Waimarino Township accommodation

Return Times

  • 12:30pm
  • 1:30pm
  • 2:45pm
  • 4:00pm

Additional return times may be available by arrangement.

Please note alpine conditions, weather and road restrictions can affect departure and return times. Safety always takes priority.

Important Information
  • Minimum passenger numbers may apply on some departures
  • Whakapapa Village pickups are by prior arrangement only
  • Group and family discounts may be available on selected services
  • One-way bookings do not include return transport rights later in the day
  • Ski and snowboard equipment must be carried in protective bags unless otherwise arranged
Ski & Snowboard Equipment

For passenger safety and compliance with alpine transport requirements, loose skis and snowboards cannot be carried inside vehicles due to sharp edges.

Please contact us before travel if bringing snow equipment. On selected days we may operate vehicles fitted with external ski racks.

Passengers arriving with undeclared equipment may be refused boarding if safe transport cannot be provided.

Child & Safety Policy
  • Children under 3 years old cannot be carried
  • All passengers must be able to use the provided seat restraints
  • Drivers reserve the right to refuse transport where safety concerns arise

Preferred return times are prioritised for passengers booked on those departures. Earlier or later returns are subject to seat availability.

If your preferred return time is unavailable online, that departure is already full.

Important Booking Conditions
  • Please be ready 10 minutes before departure
  • Accommodation pickups may vary slightly from scheduled times
  • Missed departures may require transfer to a later shuttle subject to availability
  • No refunds are available for missed services
  • Payment may remain pending until minimum operating numbers are confirmed

Ski Area Closures & Weather Conditions Passengers are strongly advised to check the latest mountain report prior to travel via the Whakapapa Snow Report. Services will not operate when: the ski area is officially closed, or access roads are considered unsafe by the operator, NZTA, Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, Police, or other relevant authorities. If transport to the ski area has already commenced or been completed prior to any closure, no refund will be provided for the completed portion of the service. Where services are cancelled prior to departure due to ski area closure or unsafe operating conditions, customers may choose either: transfer to another available date, or refund less applicable booking, transaction and processing fees. Passengers must be ready at the designated departure location at least 10 minutes prior to departure. Passengers not present at departure time may forfeit their booking. Missed departures are not eligible for refund. Any alternative transport arrangements remain entirely at the discretion of the operator and may incur additional charges. The operator accepts no responsibility for delays caused by weather, road conditions, traffic congestion, ski area operations, or events outside the operator’s reasonable control. Passenger and driver safety always takes priority over advertised schedules. Cancellations, Refunds & Fees Booking, transaction and credit card fees are non-refundable. A 20% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to departure. No refund applies to cancellations made within 24 hours of departure. No refund applies for: missed departures no-shows unused portions of transport services early closure of ski facilities after transport has occurred.
