Out of schedule days where shuttles may have been cancelled due to weather or not running to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing
10am through to 5pm on demand service. Unfortunately we can not run later due to driving hours compliance or earlier due to availability of driver.

If you are planning to avoid the section of track between Whakapapa Village and Mangatepopo our Shuttle provides a service to or from Mangatepopo Carpark back to Whakapapa Village.
Prices include Department of Concession fee $8.17 for using the Mangatepopo Road.
Note this is one way not return
A late service charge or wait time may be applied at $10 per 15 minutes waiting in the event you miss the arranged pick up time or additional mileage rate of $3.80 per km should driver need to come back.

Scheduled services are dependent on weather conditions impacting our Tongariro Alpine Crossing Transfer Services and may be cancelled due to those conditions. If you have booked a out of schedule service a minimum service fee applies. If no shuttles are running to the crossing on our scheduled services a minimum service fee may apply. Communication is important to us always check before booking.
